Perspective landscapes
Series of paintings from the exploration area “Inside / Outside” is a story about the places where our interior meets the outside, translated into the visual language of architecture. The abstract painting cycle shows the interpenetrating, complex arrangements of planes, creates a space made of non-existent, transparent architecture, non-places and imaginary worlds in such a way that we do not know whether we are observing them inside or outside. These observations are accompanied by a state of inner pause and reflection, which makes us seem absent, and our thoughts drift between reality and imagination. Where are we actually? What are we visiting now? Macro-scale multiverses, parallel space-time, or little corners of the human interior?
The works are created over many years, in parallel with independently developed, extensive, free and variable reflection. They constitute a neutral framework, background, abstract record of experiences related to specific places and time. They allow me to draw up narratives for other directions of artistic research.
