Abstract compositions
The basis of the work on the cycle of geometric and expressive planes were formal experiments: in space and composition, colour, and expanding painting techniques with various tools, materials, and even weather conditions. In the resulting multilayer structures, great emphasis was placed on the texture and contrast obtained with the use of transparent techniques of glaze and gesture painting. A rich texture, in addition to traditional painting methods, is created by the People’s Republic of Poland Flock wallpapers from abandoned buildings, sheets of notebooks from the primary school times, insulating tape, ground coffee, various adhesives consistencies, frost, paint splinters, traces of a window squeegee, waste from art activities collected and reused; and many other items. In addition, each painting has a story associated with it or is a part of a separate, larger story, to which we may be able to return one day.
